NEW HORIZONS AWARD FOR KML

NEW HORIZONS AWARD FOR KML

KML are delighted to have won the Business Growth Award at the inaugural New Horizons Awards.

The awards have been introduced by Marine-i, a European Regional Development Fund funded programme, which supports businesses in the marine sector in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with the aim of shining a light on business talent and innovation in the region.

Marine-i's judges were very impressed with the rapid growth that KML has achieved and the way in which it has embraced new initiatives, such as securing Falmouth Wharves to create a base for KML and other marine businesses to grow as well as sourcing Cornish granite to fulfil rock armour contracts.

KML's Managing Director, Diccon Rogers, was presented with the award by Richard Noble OBE, a long-time holder of the world land speed record, at a special event hosted at the China Fleet Club in Saltash.

Speaking after the ceremony, Diccon said, "We are very proud to be a Cornwall based company operating regionally, nationally and internationally and so we are very pleased to have been recognised by Marine-i for our successes."
